Whole-Home Repiping
Failing galvanized and polybutylene plumbing replaced for homeowners across the south Portland metro, planned and patched back clean.
When a Repipe Makes Sense
Old pipe does not fail all at once. It fails a little at a time: rusty or low water pressure, pinhole leaks, water that runs brown after the house sits, and repairs that come more often each year. Galvanized steel and polybutylene both have a known end of life, and at some point patching one leak after another costs more than replacing the pipe.
A repipe is a planned job, not an emergency, which means you have time to compare a few plumbers and choose on price and proof. We scope the whole house, give you a written estimate, and walk you through what the work looks like day to day before you commit.
How We Do It
We plan the runs to open as few walls as possible, and we keep your water on for as much of the job as we can. We replace the supply lines with PEX or copper, pressure-test the new system, and then patch the drywall back so you are not left with a house full of holes. Most homes are done in a few days, and we keep you posted at each stage.
What a Repipe Includes
- A full walkthrough and a written scope before we start.
- New supply lines in PEX or copper, permitted.
- Pressure testing and inspection.
- Drywall patched and the work area cleaned up.
Pricing and Financing
A repipe is one of the larger jobs we do, so we treat the estimate seriously. There is no charge to come look, the written estimate is the price, and financing is available so you can plan it on your own terms. One repipe done right is worth more than ten rushed ones, and we build for the long relationship.
